Interest rates are rounded off to two decimal places.
Additional interest of 0.50% p.a. will be paid for Senior citizen (Completed age 60 years on the date of deposit/renewal)
Additional interest of 0.15% p.a will be paid on all Renewals, where the deposit is matured.
Additional interest of 0.05% p.a. will be paid to Women Depositors.
The above additional interest rates [senior citizen, renewals, Women Depositors] will be applied on the yearly rate, which will be factored into the calculation of corresponding interest rates for periods shorter than a year, including monthly, quarterly, and half-yearly rates.
Deposits will be accepted in multiples of Rs. 1000/- subject to a minimum amount of Rs. 5000/-.
Cumulative deposits can be renewed for maturity value.
All above tenures will be available for online & offline [15 month tenor applicable only for online] investments.
